    Here at Orchard Equine Transport we pride ourselves on delivering a personal and professional service with every journey tailor made to suit your individual needs.

    All Equines we transport are cared for with the upmost respect, with Equine welfare ,their comfort & safety our number one priority at all times.

    With over 20 years experience in the equestrian industry as a family our knowledge and understanding is second to none.

    Fully licensed and certified.

    Able to cater for all journeys across the UK:

    • Vet visits including emergencies (24/7 call out)

    • Horse purchase

    • Mare and foal transport

    • Over Night stay over at our base in Yorkshire when required.

      We’re here to help and support horse owners with our thorough experience transporting horses, 365 days a year.

  • National Prices

    National Prices

    £1.30 + VAT for 1 horse or £1.50 per mile + VAT for 2 horses or mare & foal, round trip. Waiting time £20.00 per hour/ £10.00 per half hour.

    Minimum charge £130:00 including VAT which covers a 30 mile radius of Doncaster & includes up to 30 minutes waiting time. No Call out charge is applicable on pre booked travel during normal working hours, 9AM to 5PM Monday to Friday. .

    Our Minimum charge will normally cover vets visits locally & to Rainbow Equine Hospital .waiting time will apply but can work out cheaper & less stressful than hiring. Most reputable insurance companies will cover our costs as part of an ongoing equine insurance claim.

  • Emergency Call out ( 24/7 service )

    Out of hours call out charges range from £20.00 – £150 for weekend, outside normal hours, Bank Holiday rate may also apply.

  • Cancellations

    A cancellation fee of £20:00 is chargeable on all pre booked transport. All transport must be paid for in advance by cleared funds.

  • Other Information

    • We cannot be held responsible for any loss or theft of any tack or items carried.

    • A complementary hay net and water are always available.

    • Horses are not able to travel wearing tack or studs, we have a separate compartment to travel tack at owners risk
